On Saturday evening in the Shahbad Dairy locality of Outer North Delhi something bad happened to two Delhi Police personnel. They got hurt badly when a man, with a bad record stabbed them. This man was suspected of planning to rob a place. The police were trying to catch him. Even though the police personnel were badly hurt they did not give up. They kept going. Were able to catch the man who stabbed them. The Delhi Police personnel showed a lot of courage. They did not let their injuries stop them from doing their job. The two Delhi Police personnel were very brave.
The police got a report that said Head Constable Kuldeep and Constable Neeraj were driving around Gupta Colony when they got a tip that a bad guy Ravi also known as “Panchi” was in the area and was going to do something. The police knew Ravi was trouble because he had done things before. So when the police got the tip they started looking for Ravi. They found him pretty quickly. Ravi is a guy who always gets into trouble and the police knew that because he had been in trouble, with the law times before.
The police officers were trying to catch Ravi. He tried to run away. This led to a fight on the small streets of Shahbad Dairy. Ravi pulled out a knife. Suddenly attacked the officers who were chasing him.
Kuldeep and Neeraj got hurt during the fight. Kuldeep got cut badly on his back and near his arm. Neeraj got stabbed times and one of the wounds was very deep, near his hip. The officers were trying to stop Ravi. He was fighting back with the knife. Ravi was still trying to escape from the officers.
The two policemen were hurt,. They did not stop chasing the suspect. They kept going. Finally they were able to overpower the suspect after a short but very intense fight. The police then took the knife that was used to attack them. They also found a homemade gun on Ravi. This shows that Ravi was ready to do more violent things the police found a country-made pistol on Ravi, the knife used in the attack was also taken by the police, from Ravi.
The injured officers were taken to a hospital away. They are getting care at the hospital now. People, from the Delhi Police said that the officers are doing okay and that they might get some awards. The Delhi Police officials think the officers should get these awards because they kept going and made the arrest even though they were really hurt. The Delhi Police officials are working on the paperwork for these awards because the officers did a job.
Ravi is in jail now because the police caught him. The police say Ravi did some bad things. He hurt some police officers. Had guns that he was not supposed to have. The police also think Ravi was going to rob someone.
The police have started an investigation. They made a report called a First Information Report. The police will keep looking into Ravis past to see if he did any bad things. Ravi is facing charges for assault, on police officers. Having guns illegally. The police will find out if Ravi did anything wrong.
